Run by Media Meerkat’s CEO, Cheryl Kingston who, after a 20 year career history as a Producer/Director, Journalist and Head of Television set up Media Meerkat to serve the industry she loves so much.
Feeling like there was a ‘gap in the market’ to offer the industry a hiring and recruitment practice that was built on solid industry understanding and expertise, Media Meerkat prides itself on not being a ‘volume recruiter’ but a recruitment agency that truly has expertise and knowledge across the board.

As a former Producer/Director and Head of Television, Cheryl set up Media Meerkat because she was fed up with recruiters approaching her promising to find her fantastic talent but rarely ever could.
She realised this was down to their lack of understanding of the industry, the varying job roles and responsibilities and a severe lack of knowledge when it came to educating candidates.
That’s how and why Media Meerkat was born and has gained a five star reputation ever since.
